My First Thought

On this page, I'm going to express some thoughts on youth topics, evangelism, the last message at youth group, or just some random comment that I think needs to be voiced. Please feel free to leave comments, but be nice. All off-color comments will be erased.
My first thought is on evangelism. When our family went to Branson a few weeks ago, Gabby asked some older folks at the pool "Do you know Jesus died on the cross for your sins?" and their reply was "Oh, yes sweetie, we sure do". I told that to a friend rescently and she said "Oh, our daughter used to do that too, but they lose the boldness after a while". I'm pretty sure our kids lose the boldness because of our example. If I don't show my daughter the urgency of the gospel by sharing my faith on a consistent basis, then her boldness may very well die. Dear Jesus, give me the boldness, courage, and faith of my 5 year old, amen.
