Like Father, Like Son

So here's what happened. 4 months ago I was playing basketball at Osage Hills with some homies. Dusty saw me wide open, cutting through the lane on a fast break, and threw me a sweet bounce pass. I grabbed the ball and tried to change direction, but my knee disagreed, and we "parted ways" so to speak. Next thing I know, I'm in the fetal position at the ER. X-rays came back negative, I didn't break anything, so I thought I was cool. A few months later I was in a pick-up game in Belleville, Illinois going half speed and I knew something was wrong. It still took me 2 months after that to submit to the $1,700 MRI that revealed a torn A.C.L. (See Friday Night Lights) Good news is my knee should get better, bad news is, it's not really my knee. They put a dead guy's A.C.L. in me! So "it's not I who walks, but he who walks in me" or something like that. I don't know anything about this guy, but I hope he had hops! Anywho, me and Ezzy are down for the count for now, but we'll be back, hopefully better than ever. Thanks for all your prayers and support. Don't think this gets you guys out of raking on "Service Saturdays", there are others that will fill in the gaps. Love you guys, In Christ, edwin
