As most of you know, we were hit pretty hard with an icestorm yesterday. A lot of people are without power and heat. In fact, Liz packed bags for us to head to her parents in case we lost power (we haven't yet). I was cleaning the ice off our car, when I heard crackling up above me. Before I could stop, drop and roll (I think that's what you're supposed to do?) this branch fell down, hit the car and barely missed my head. All around our house branches and limbs crashed down through the evening. One has taken out our cable line (it's okay, we canceled our subscription a year ago) and barely missed our powerline. One slammed on our propane tank, but didn't hurt anything. It's funny how God's creation has a way of humbling us, isn't it. I mean, with all the technology and wisdom of man, a simple storm, wave, wind, quake, brings us back to reality to show us who's really in charge, in control, sustaining the universe. Jesus, we hear you loud and clear...til next time.
"
For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse"
